Taps V13.2

So last night I was sitting at home… and I realized the back of my throat was starting to feel scratchy. And a bit of pressure was building up in my sinuses. Oh joy….. it looks like I held out as long as I could and finally lost the battle with xavi7734’s cold/sinus infection/plague. So, trying to head it off at the pass, I took some of the Tylenol Sever cold and sinus stuff that I picked up for her. It says it is the non-drowsy stuff…. so that means it was going to knock me out. Some amphetamines and barbiturates work backwards on me. I don’t know why.

Needless to say, by 10pm, I was ready for bed. I took LadyJ up, threw her in our bed and we were both out in 15 minutes.

This morning I woke up…. a good hour before my alarm was set to go off. Fuck.

I was wide awake. No use trying to get back to sleep. So I just got up to get dressed. Might as well go into work and get stuff done before anyone shows up. Fuck.

Heading back upstairs to get my glasses, I notice that xavi7734 fell asleep in hers. I go to take them off and wake her up by accident. She freaks wondering what I am doing. And comments that she didn’t even hear my alarm. I inform her thats because it hasn’t yet. And wont for a while.

I notice when I get ion the car that is is almost out of gas. So I need to stop and get some on the way to work. Guess what. BJ’s isnt open at 5am. Fuck.

OK… so I can make it to work on what I have. I will just have to remember to stop on the way home and fill up the tank. So off to work I go.

I get to work and grab my stuff out of the car. I head to the back entrance where I always park and try my card on the security sensor. Nothing. I try it again. Nothing. Fuck

And it is fucking 17 degrees out here. Realizing that my card may not work on the back door after hours, I decide to try the front. Its only about 50 yards away, I can deal with that. So I lug my backpack to the front door. Its always full of stuff. Laptop, camera, 2 extra lenses, extra batteries for the laptop, extra batteries for the camera, flash, etc etc etc… My card doesn’t work on the front door either. FUCK.

There is no one at the security desk either. FUCK!

OK… Screw it… someone will be here shortly… I will just go wait it out in the car. Least there it is warm…. So I lug my backpack BACK to the car, in this windy, freezing, empty parking lot…. start my car and kick the seat back to chill until someone else shows up. Then it hit me that, SHIT, I was almost out of gas. Now I have been sitting in the car wasting it away so I could keep warm. FUCK!!

I head out of the parking lot and up to the nearest QT, and at least made it there without running out of gas. So I fill it up, and head back to the office. There are two cars of people I know come in early where mine used to be. And I missed them. So now I cant even follow them in the building. And since they dont work for my company, I have no way of getting a hold of them to let me in. FUCK!

So I sit there for another 15 minutes…. least now I have gas…. Finally one of the maintenance guys pulls in. I know he has access to get in. I was able to follow him in, and finally got to my office. I open the door, and there stands three of the guys I work with, chatting. None of which ever come in early. Hell, two of them travel all the time, so they are rarely ever in the office in the first place. Had I know there was anyone else in the office, I would have just called them and had them come ope the front door. Mother Fuckers!

So now I have been more pissed off by 7am then most people are all day.

Add to this little snippet of my day, the fact that my head is pounding….I’m worn out….I have a fever…And it usually takes me 4 or 5 days to get rid of this….And don’t forget the whole sick=horny thing (Yea… Im fucked up that way… ) AND that of course xavi7734 wont even come near me when I am sick…..

Well… I have just come to the conclusion that this week is going to suck.
