By the same token, when using the Flickr Uploadr, does this also apply to photos that I mark as safe there as well? Or will I need to add a couple of more steps to my upload process?

Again, I do not understand this process? How can your determine what I would mark a photo as since it is automatically marked as Moderated when I upload it? And the only other choice I have is to mark it as restricted. Neither of which 95% of my photos fall into.
I am not trying to be difficult here. I do appreciate the explanations. But you are asking me to comply with a procedure, which I am fully capable and agreeing to do, but not unless I understand the process.
To put it metaphorically, you are asking me not to speed on the highway, but then giving me a vehicle that will only reach a maximum speed of 30MPH. Of course I am not going to exceed the posted 65MPH speed limit, it is impossible to do so.
This does not sound like a review process from this end. It appears to be nothing more than a punishment. If that is what it is, then let us just call a spade a spade.

We’re looking to see how you moderate what you upload in the next month. To ensure that you have a better understanding of how your content should be flagged.
You can moderate your content in Organizr. We will see what you select and that’s what we will review.

Heather

There appears to be a flaw in this system or I am not understanding.
How can you monitor what photos I am marking as safe and moderated? When since my account is marked as moderated, I am unable to mark anything as safe?
To be on the safe side, I took the long approach to this. I marked the ones you pointed out that should have been Restricted as such. Then marked the rest of my photos as Moderated. I then went through the organizer by hand and selected the ones that did not qualify and put them in a batch to be marked as safe. Except for now that cant be done. When I attempt to mark anything as safe in a batch, I receive errors telling me I cant. And when I attempt to do them individually, SAFE is grayed out and not an option.
Please explain to me how you are supposed to monitor my choices in settings when you do not give me a choice of settings?
Basically, what you are saying is wait a month and you will change it back?

Thanks for your patience.
What we’ve done in the past for similar cases is ask that members moderate their account for a month. We can then review and determine if there’s a better understanding.
You can bulk flag your content via the Organizer. Drag the photos that you want to change the safety level on from the finder strip at the bottom into to work area. Then select “Set safety filter” from the “Permissions” menu (second from left).
We’ll be able to view how you’ve flagged your photos. If we can see that you’re making an effort to flag your content appropriately, then we will revert your overall safety level to “safe/public”. The photos that you’ve flagged yourself will remain as “moderate” or “restricted” while the majority will be viewable by all.
Please feel free to respond to this email on or after December 21st and we’ll review your account.
Regards,
Heather
