THAT is the part I didnt know. Now it totally makes more sense.

By the same token, when using the Flickr Uploadr, does this also apply to photos that I mark as safe there as well? Or will I need to add a couple of more steps to my upload process?

Again, I do not understand this process? How can your determine what I would mark a photo as since it is automatically marked as Moderated when I upload it? And the only other choice I have is to mark it as restricted. Neither of which 95% of my photos fall into.

I am not trying to be difficult here. I do appreciate the explanations. But you are asking me to comply with a procedure, which I am fully capable and agreeing to do, but not unless I understand the process.

To put it metaphorically, you are asking me not to speed on the highway, but then giving me a vehicle that will only reach a maximum speed of 30MPH. Of course I am not going to exceed the posted 65MPH speed limit, it is impossible to do so.

This does not sound like a review process from this end. It appears to be nothing more than a punishment. If that is what it is, then let us just call a spade a spade.

There appears to be a flaw in this system or I am not understanding.

How can you monitor what photos I am marking as safe and moderated? When since my account is marked as moderated, I am unable to mark anything as safe?

To be on the safe side, I took the long approach to this. I marked the ones you pointed out that should have been Restricted as such. Then marked the rest of my photos as Moderated. I then went through the organizer by hand and selected the ones that did not qualify and put them in a batch to be marked as safe. Except for now that cant be done. When I attempt to mark anything as safe in a batch, I receive errors telling me I cant. And when I attempt to do them individually, SAFE is grayed out and not an option.

Please explain to me how you are supposed to monitor my choices in settings when you do not give me a choice of settings?

Basically, what you are saying is wait a month and you will change it back?

Apparently Flickr isn’t even responding to me any more. I sent an email Friday afternoon, and again this morning. And I am getting nothing in return. Not even a response telling me they are or aren’t working on it. I love being ignored. Especially when I am a paying customer.

Heather,

I understand that it was possible you were not working over the weekend, so I have waited to post a followup to this query.

I am still wondering when my account will be set back to safe?

Chris,

Here are a few examples of content that were shared safe
that need to be flagged as “moderate” or “restricted”:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/taps7734/979578972/ (was safe)
http://www.flickr.com/god/photo.gne?id=1403321236 (was
moderate)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/taps7734/2504690656/ (was
safe)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/taps7734/2503859687/ (was
safe)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/taps7734/1403317296/ (was
moderate)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/taps7734/1402366597/
(was moderate)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/taps7734/978697341/ (was
moderate)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/taps7734/2420121250/ (was
safe)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/taps7734/2419308793/
(was safe)

A good rule of thumb is that bare boobs and/or bums, more
sexualized and graphic content be flagged as “moderate”.
Genitalia and explicit sexual content be flagged as
“restricted”.

Regards,

Heather
